Dr. Ginger Werwinski
(she/her)
doctor of chiropractic
Dr. Ginger Werwinski, she/her, is a chiropractor licensed and practicing in both Oregon and Washington since 2007.
During her years of practice Ginger has been committed to empowering others, from kids to seniors, to feel more connected with their bodies and health. Helping people recognize not only what factors contribute to symptoms they are experiencing, but positive changes they can make to help themselves.
Ginger’s interest in movement and wellness began early in life. As soon as she was big enough to put some weight behind her thumbs and elbows she was trained in Kiatsu by her father, Dr. Gary Winebrenner. Long before becoming a chiropractor he trained and taught Aikido for decades, passing on the body work component to his daughter, Ginger. They both found their careers in chiropractic, helping people move and feel better. She knows personally and professionally there is no “one size fits all” approach to our sense of health and well being. Each of us brings a wide range of variables. Chiropractic care, with a mindful and knowledgeable practitioner, can help address some of them.
Treatment with Ginger may include: manual adjusting, low-force Activator adjusting, extremity adjusting, manual therapy, trigger point therapy, cold laser, therapeutic exercise, and guidance for work or lifestyle modifications.
Additionally, she is trauma informed and gives support from a weight neutral, HAES (Health At Every Size) standpoint.
On a personal level, Ginger knows first hand what it is to experience constant chronic pain; to have one’s life upended by chronic illness. She knows that making changes for your health can feel overwhelming. But she has also learned from her own experience that even incremental shifts can add up over time to big health changes, and she no longer lives in constant pain.
