Aubrey Kelly
(she/her)
Licensed Acupuncturist
Aubrey offers an extensive set of skills developed over many years of professional experience. Her healthcare journey began in 2003, and she has been fortunate to work with many amazing teachers along the way. She has been in private practice since 2013 and continues to hone her intuitive style. Aubrey utilizes gentle Japanese Meridian/Channel theory to work with your internal systems. Over the last 10 years, she has worked with the vagal circuitry, specifically within the arena of trauma recovery. Along with acupuncture, she may incorporate sound therapies, breathwork, herbal formulas, supplements, and gua sha in a session. She is also experienced and comfortable in the use of functional diagnostic labs. She enjoys collaborating with other doctors to get you the support you need for your unique health situation. Aubrey loves to learn new things, research issues and bring new insight to her patients. She tends to use the Chinese herbal formulas in a functional medicine way. At Be Well, Aubrey’s lens is inclusive, and trauma informed. She has experience working with a variety of cultures and intends to provide high quality holistic healthcare for those who normally would not be able to access care.
Aubrey is proficient in working with anxiety, depression, gastrointestinal dysfunction, hormone imbalance, adrenal fatigue, stubborn chronic inflammatory conditions, and autoimmune pathologies. Aubrey is also board certified in Functional Hyperbaric Medicine. She enjoys working with patients in this capacity and truly feels that this is revolutionary medicine!
Before she became an Acupuncturist, Aubrey practiced for many years as a bodyworker. Her favorite medium to work in is warm water. She has studied WATSU (water shiatsu) Waterdance, Healing Dance, and Aquatic Integration with amazing teachers all around the world. These healing sessions offer a safe space in which to unravel, journey, meditate, feel nourished and rejuvenated. She offers these water sessions as part of a nonprofit project with TeamWorks. For more information on this project please see her warm water therapy page @ www.elementslifecare.org
Combining therapies in and out of the water, Aubrey has seen truly remarkable results — reduced pain, better sleep, a sense of being seen, deeper self-awareness, and more presence and engagement with everyday life!
She looks forward to meeting you and being a part of your healthcare team!
