Dr. Viktor Usov
(he/him)
Naturopathic Doctor
Licensed Acupuncturist
Born in Ukraine, grown in the Portland rain—Viktor Usov, ND, LAc has a deep love for nature, movement, and art. His affection for creative expression led him to The Juilliard School, where he trained as a dancer and performer. For over two decades he graced stages around the world, and still finds joy in wiggling whenever the music hits. A recipient of the Princess Grace Award for Dance Performance, Viktor carries that same reverence for rhythm and embodiment into his medical practice today.
Fascinated by the body’s innate capacity to heal, Viktor transitioned from performing art to the healing arts. He is a dual-degree graduate of the National University of Natural Medicine, where he earned his Doctorates in Naturopathic and Masters in Chinese Medicine. His approach blends science and intuition, helping patients restore harmony through nutrition, lifestyle, botanical medicine, and mindful movement.
Viktor’s love of medicine is as broad as his curiosity and he is equally at home diving into all things natural and conventional medicine. He genuinely enjoys the depth and variety of general care and believes that every system of the body tells part of a larger story. He has particular passions for adjunctive oncology, gastroenterology, neurology, and complex chronic pain; where science and compassion intersect in the most profound ways. He also holds a personal affection for skin health. Through rejuvenative microneedling and holistic skin therapies, he helps patients enhance their natural radiance without altering their unique features—only amplifying the beauty that’s already there.
Viktor is a trauma-informed provider who offers gentle bodywork, including craniosacral therapy, to support the release of somatic trauma stored in the body. His work emphasizes safety, softness, and the slow rediscovery of ease. He takes special pride in creating an inclusive, affirming healing space for the queer community and for performance artists seeking balance and resilience – both inside and out.
