Allie Patton, LPC, is a Board-certified & Oregon licensed music therapist and licensed professional counselor. She cares deeply about connection, and helping people discover and accept their genuine inner selves through:
- Expressive arts
- Individual psychotherapy
- Neurodivergent support groups
- Neurodivergent-affirming Autism and ADHD assessments
Specifically Allie has worked with the neurodivergent and disability population for almost 10 years. She herself is AuDHD. Allie is especially passionate about working with late-diagnosed Autistic and ADHDer folk in navigating the world through lived experiences.
She believes in counseling a person holistically using an overall person-centered and relational approach, and tends to balance direct and indirect conversational styles depending on the person – aligning with neurodivergent-affirming, LGBTQIA2S+-affirming, and interfaith-affirming practices.
Her favorite modalities to use are:
- Neurodivergent Affirming Therapy,
- Expressive Arts,
- Neurodivergent-modified DBT,
- Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, and
- Internal Family Systems.
Individuals from all walks of life are welcome at her office. She believes it’s vitally important to create an atmosphere of safety, honesty, accommodation, and openness for her clients.
Allie’s waitlist is open for ADHD/autism assessments and group therapy for most OHP and private insurance plans. She is not currently accepting or waitlisting new 1:1 indivual clients.
